CoreView 20.10 Improves M365 Governance and Management with the following features:
Improved Governance [CoreAdmin, CoreReporting]
- Scheduled Reports area simple and effective way to share information with automated notifications or even automated remediation. An example of “Check daily for external Guest users inactive for more than 30 days, send me a notification and delete immediately [Remediate]”. These Scheduled Reports are shareable inside the Organization, so that anyone can subscribe and retrieve with Just One click.
- A new status has been added to User password settings to show who has Conditional Access configured, allowing easy setup of KPIs, scheduled activities, or fix configurations, such as enforce MFA on all M365 applications.
- Distribution Groups have been improved to become subject to Delivery management policies and approval of messages prior to them being sent to Distribution Groups, allowing for appropriate governance and review. Thus, new columns were added to Distribution Groups report and delivery management tab with the relative options was added under the following management actions:
- create distribution group
- edit distribution group
- Any actions to Remove Guest Users can now be reviewed and approved and done more efficiently via bulk changes.
- Custom actions can now select SharePoint as a target, so operators can use SharePoint actions.
Management of Teams Voice [CoreTeamsAnalytics]
When it comes to managing voice networks, universities and dispersed organizations have requested and been excited about the recent series of enhancements CoreView has made to create a strong voice management offering with the flexibility needed to manage these networks across departments and geographies.
- Naming Convention Policies have been added to allow configuration of Call Queues and Auto Attendants on PSTN within your Tenant.
- Extension of Virtual Tenants to voice networks with Virtual Tenants enhanced with:
- New sections for Device and Phone number, now you can filter the data in the CoreView portal using this new section.
- Virtual Tenants can be used for reporting and management of Auto Attendant, and Call queues, as well as SharePoint sites.
Improved Security Monitoring [CoreSecurity]
- New Reports under the Audit Events allow analysis of Microsoft Power Apps audit logs, extending the breadth of audit logs consolidated in CoreView.
Easier Automation [CoreFlow]
With its focus on automating management tasks – whether provisioning users or scaling your custom PowerShell scripts – CoreFlow now makes it easier and provides much more flexibility. To achieve this, the following have been added:
- New workflow list experience
- New grid view that allow better filtering, sorting
- Bulk action to export or deactivate workflows
- New workflow execution list experience
- New grid view that allow better filtering, sorting
- Bulk action to delete or restart failed execution
- New schedule experience
- New grid view that allow better filtering, sorting
- New scheduling capabilities via CSV files from URL/FTP/FTPS/SFTP
Broad management of SaaS applications [CoreSaaS]
- New management actions for Zoom (Activate, change password, Suspend, Delete, Update to change license plan)
- New Discover (Suggested products) experience that allows to bulk add Managed Products
Other Bugs squashed:
- Plus, many small pesky bugs have been resolved in this release, many impacting and increasing stability
Last but not least: the NEW Management Proxy is live only in GOV datacenter
- We have deployed Management Proxy on Azure Gov DC, we will monitor activities closely in the next days. All other DCs will follow soon.
