Storage dashboard provides an overview and details related to the volume of data stored in Exchange, OneDrive and SharePoint in your Office 365 tenant. . It gives also insights into mailbox quota, email activities, mailboxes on hold numbers, OneDrive and SharePoint activities over the last 7 days.


The eight tables present at the beginning on the dashboard are action-enabled, and you can click on the numbers inside of the boxes to open the relative reports and see more details. In particular, you can check the number of:  

  • Exchange: number of mailboxes, total mailbox size (GB), average mailbox size (GB),
  • OneDrive: number of users, total size (GB), average size per user (GB),
  • SharePoint: number of sites, total size (GB), average size per site (GB),
  • Mailbox Quota number: warning >95% / >100%, prohibit receive >95% / >100%, prohibit send >95% / >100%,
  • Email activities over the last 7 days: total number of activities, total size (GB), % of monthly growth,
  • Number of mailboxes on litigation hold,
  • OneDrive operations: number of files uploaded (created), modified and deleted over the last 7 days,
  • SharePoint operations: number of files uploaded (created), modified and deleted over the last 7 days.

While the charts give you an overview of: 

  • Exchange mailbox usage: you can check mailbox tab to see the distribution of total vs active number of mailboxes in your tenant, or switch to Quota tab to check the good, warning issued, send prohibited, send-receive prohibited quotas or to Storage tab to verify the storage usage distribution over the last days,
  • OneDrive: you can switch between Files tab to check the distribution of total vs actives OneDrive files and Storage tab to see OneDrive storage change over the last days,
  • SharePoint: you can switch between Files tab to check the distribution of total vs actives SharePoint files and Storage tab to see SharePoint storage change over the last days.

Note: you can click on the titles in the legend to exclude it from the chart.
