Overview

The CoreView user interface (UI) is divided into several key areas, identified below, and will adapt to the device you have accessed CoreView.  To ensure consistency with Office 365, CoreView follows Microsoft's UI standard known as "Fabric."  This is intended to make the transition easier for individuals moving from the Office 365 administration portal to CoreView.

Our UI can adjust itself dynamically based on the device in use, be it a desktop computer or workstation, a laptop, an Apple or Android tablet, a Chromebook, or even your smartphone. Our interface will adjust itself without losing any functionality.  If you'd like to see how this works, grab the edge of your browser applications window and begin to drag the window's size down.  You'll see how the UI adapts various display sizes as you do this.

When you log into CoreView, you will be presented with the Start Page's landing page.  Tenant Admins have the ability to select an entirely different Start Page for an Operator based on the Permissions assigned to that Operator.

Note: These screens may vary based on your permissions and access.

1. Search Bar. Search is the most common way people use to navigate the application and search results not only return users and groups, but also return screens and management actions. Search is also personalized displaying both recent search as well as commonly used search terms.

2. Navigation Panel. The unified navigation panel pulls together navigation in a single location with the ability to drill up and down through the navigation hierarchy. From here you can access Reports, Management Actions, and the Resource Center.

3. Top Right Panel. Here you can view the CoreView Tenant name, Management Session, Task notifications, Global Filter,  and My profile menus.

Tenants
If you have multiple Tenants, click the Tenant name to switch between tenants.

Management Session
In order for the Tenant Admin and Operators to perform management actions, they must be enabled in the Management Session tab.

Tasks
Under the Tasks tab, you can view any tasks that have been performed by any operator within the CoreView environment.

Filters

The Filters allow you to set a temporary filter that will be applied to all reports and Dashboards at once. This is particularly useful if an operator/admin wants to track an issue or adoption for a specific area of their tenant.

My profile

The Profile drop-down tab has numerous options depending on your permissions and access. Here you can find your profile information.

4. Quick Actions. You can quickly go to the most used actions by clicking one of the links in this section.

Reports

Reports are grouped into distinct categories to make it easier to find the information you’re looking for.  When you select a category, its related reports list will appear. You can then select the report you need.

Actions

Here, you will find the Management actions page where you can access all the CoreView actions and workflows your tenant admin has delegated to you. In the Task progress page you can track the progress of your executed actions.

Settings

From here, you can access the My organization page which contains data about the company you are managing and information about CoreView instance settings.
